wow.

as most of you know i am still alive. this is my first public post in a couple of years. i haven't been playing here very much as of late. i've been playing in the myspace yard. not because i think it's a better format of blog but i am able to keep in better contact with people i actually know and post music.

none to brag i'll say. i won't just abandon my el jay. i am just not going to use it much anymore. i've been thinking of using the Cj to post photos and graphic arts. as of today the club has closed. we only open for special events and catering now. thank you for your time. i say it was quite a blast. i think i've made my point.

things change and boys grow old. secrets breed contempt. placation gives the sorrow a nasty smell. perhaps i shouldn't have said so much. maybe i should have kept my mouth shut. it is too late for that now. no matter how many fibs have been told or defamation of character used as a weapon during passive aggressive power struggles, something funny happened in october of two thousand and four. doors opened and staircases fell. pianos collected rust, guitars cried and i am left to always wonder ... what is green?

this journal is now protected. why? it was not meant for the utter lulz of the internets. i never knew so much drama could self replicate itself in such silly ways. i created it at the request of oheunoia back in the invite code days ... which are slowly being forgotten by sixteen year old girls everywhere. on this day i decided to protect all new posts. there are some old posts left public for the scouring of the ohnoes. there isn't much there. nothing that could be used to point fingers. i speak for the emotions of knowing. the journal and i speak for those that cannot speak for themselves. this journal provides a glimpse of the truth. it is transgressive and steeped in the other. this little insignificant portion of the internet uses longing to supplement loss while hope hangs from it's tiptoes, perilously teetering over the cliffs edge. if you want to be involved with a serious journal that hears things differently then seeing them for what they might not be, then friend me. this el jay doesn't whine about boyfriends or tell you about what it bought at the mall. you have been forewarned to beware of dangerously abject graphic art. it is not work friendly, let alone nice, pretty or sparkly.

eianorange once said something about flame wars and cyber sex we're the only "new" form of expression "created" by denizens of the "net". or something like that. maybe it's a performance art thing, nicholasdark once said to me when we talked about richardzx. the only reason i keep this el jay is for modestmuse who gave me an invite code(in the days before even more morons). so she knows i am ok and i know she's ok. it's for lady_exxxa, br0k3nt0y and orphic_studios. i've met some good peeps along the way. dirtyfilthy, inertiam, zatoichi_x, the tamatrix and the rest of you's that put up with so much of my bullshit. a journal is about the desire, not where you've shopped today or what club you went to last night. you use it to express emotion so you can find those days your memory has lost.
